So from the past few weeks, I've been addicted and I've wanted to buy these tops that are called "Halter Tops" But sadly, there are no PLUS SIZED sizes for them. Believe it or not, I really hate the word "Free Size" like damn! We plus sized girls also deserve to wear those kind of clothes. Sooooo yuh, I made a tutorial for this DIY Halter Top inspired by Injoyy if y'all want to see her vid, click here!!
What You'll Need:
Second, we will be cutting the halter shape. I mean you'll need to cut from the thighs and across the crotch area to the other side by like making an arch. Make sure to cut above the crotch area to have two equal size ( Measure this!! the bottom part will be the Halter top's front and the upper part of the leggings will be it's top )
Now you have your halter top shape, y'all want to grab your pins, needles and thread. Or if you're using a sewing machine, just grab the pins. Now, we'll start hemming as in luke hemmings HAHAHA kidding. Roll the sides of the top twice and secure it with the pin! Same goes to the back side but you need to roll it inside. Once you're done pinning the sides of each part, you need to start sewing the sides and the back part.
Once you're done sewing the sides and back side. You'll need to cut out some long strips / strings for the drawstring of the top from the excess part of the leggings ( I mean the excess part EXCUSE MY POOR ENGLISH GUYS GHAD )
Once you've cut the strings, you need to roll and sew it again.
When you're done, attach each string at the sides of the top by sewing it again.

AND CONGRATS!!! YOUR HALTER TOP IS FINISHED <3

- Old Leggings
- Sewing Machine ( if you're lazy enough to sew )
- Needle and Thread ( if you don't have a sewing machine ; the thread must be the same color as the leggings that you're going to use )
- Scissors
- Pins
